I am using Windows 7 and

have already enabled telnet => You mean Ticiking "Telnet Client" checkbox under Turn Window Feature On Off.. right, Yes I have done that.../admin. And I learned that from your help page only.../

When I open telnet 182.168.0.1, on typing id and pwd as mentioned,
nothing is visible only cursor moves and blank space appears../

I am not able to understand, whether it is able to loginto the modem.../
Here is a screenshot of what happens on running the module....

Hmm ... U ran the module, and you should let ot run all on its own. Leave the PC undisturbed while it is running. Did u try to enter the user and password in telnet while the module is running?? It isnt required, the module does that on its own.

Anyways, I now advice you to go to RUN and type telnet 192.168.0.1 . This must open up telnet window. Here, type the username and password. Once you are logged in, type help. This displays a list of commands, let me have them.

Have a look at this -

Once you access the router using telnet, a name is displayed, and admin is asked. Enter admin. When you enter the password, the cursor doest move, just enter admin again and press enter. Now a arrow > appears. Type help here to display help commands. You may also type restart, system reboot, system restart, set reboot, reboot etc to see if it reboots the modem.

Also, please confirm the user and password you use to get into the modem.
