I just want to share something about rooting....Its ok to root if you are familiar with the Rules of Android.....And im sure there are many things out there for your NOTE!!Its like using your phone only upto 50% of its capacity....if you haven't rooted... You know what..For now....just use it and feel the experience.. But rooting is way cooler...You can use that Quad core processor Over Clocked...And it gives me goosebumps...i mean in a good way...!!

Yeah but you void the warranty unless you use triangle away. Also if you flash a non samsung Rom, you lose the much advertised features like smart stay etc.

Got the official OTA update from Samsung for Jelly Bean 4.1.2 for my Galaxy Note II. Just updated this afternoon before I left for work. Havent had the time to check out all the changes/updates. I'll update tjis post if I find something interesting..

planning to byt samsung Galaxy s3... seems the update is out for s3 toohave short listed Sony xperia ion and s3, but s3 seems to be faster when it comes to updates. Only sony ion beats s3 in camera.

Some how I never liked the Sony interface/UI for Android. The S3 is a capable device. I had shortlisted the S3 and Note II as my choices but I bought the Note II as I dont use my devices for many calls. So the size doesn't bother me but works in my advantage as I use it for a lot of web browsing, viewing documents and other stuff.
