well... my nexus takes a while to close the call. sometimes i accidentally call someone. the call ends up happening before my clicking the end button takes effect.

Are there too many apps connected to dailer ? some apps to log/record/organize your phonebook/logs etc etc.
Also
I would certainly take a look at system startup list and disable apps which I can live with Disabled during boot up.
you can use "es taskmanager" to look, if interested.

I havent faced such issue (Neither at call start, nor at disconnection). Tried noticing it twice/thrice today. @Sushubh.....r u sure, ur issue is not because of the other person disconnecting the phone earlier. Looks a dumb question, but those r the only times i face that.

i am talking about disconnecting calls that i accidentally started by clicking on the dial button.

Hmmmm. @iCon, weird. Why r u facing that issue too? May be try assigning the gesture available for it. U can quickly access it to disconnect the call. That comes in handy.....u dont have to look at the screen to disconnect.

I noticed the delay long back but thought its normal but after reading chromaniac bro I realized the delay is real sense. Actually because of that delay I almost made a call to scam number, but fortunately managed to cut the call before it get connected. I was deleting that number from call log but dialed accidentally.
