If I buy the class 6 one, how exactly will it affect video taking performance?

It won't really. The one I have linked above has specced speeds of 13 mBps so unless your video bitrate is something like 50 Mbit which it is not, its no issue.

I just shot a video, bitrate is 17.1 @1080p so I guess I should be fine... Also I'll be buying with cod so no eBay for me..
