No.

Only during charging the phone, it gets a little bit heated else no heating issues faced at least for me. Only issue I am facing is battery backup is below avg. On weekends when phone usage is more, I need to charge it 2 times. Else it goes to 10-20% by night on weekdays.

My phone heats up as it would blast while video calling.

Also, I observed an issue with Samsung phones, the native call recording doesn't work if you use Wi-Fi calling.

I never had them Chinese phones get hot no matter what I did, so I feel it's likely the SoC.
I stopped using this phone for work calls completely due to how awful it works and the battery.
Using Jabber on laptop is a bit inconvenient but still a better option for now. I think I might have to go get a new phone.

@AAK budget is not an issue, I wanted a phone that was stable with good customer support and tried and tested.
OnePlus has a long history of being bug ridden and having some of the most ridiculous customer support.
Pixel 7 is rather quite new in the market and the last company I'm gonna trust to make anything good is Google, a friend of mine has it, and she's not really happy with the phone.

My last Samsung was about 6 years ago and in that period they were really poor when it comes to experience, the only reason I picked the S21 FE was to test if the flagship would be worth it if I ever make the decision.

Magic lol.

@AAK I'll keep using this phone until I couldn't and then I guess iPhone is the only salvation. :/

Can't be proven unless tested, this phone's biggest downfall is its non-adaptive display, hot guzzling processor, inefficient RAM and the storage isn't even UFS. Apps take literal 5-10 minutes to just install or update.
