Agree, usage of cores depends the apps & other connectivities. The same applies to all the dual & quad phones, so as battery issuedrain. Since S4 have 8 cores, I predict there would be more power sucking stock apps pre-loaded in the phone. Let's wait for the decent detailed review
Rugged Build phones have been around since Moto Defy days. I don't understand wat has been samsung still watching. They also posponed the flexi screen technology to their future models. They might launch it with Titan to get attention.
And about tizen or any other os multiboot. Not won't be possible in samsung phones. If you love experimenting. Get the Nokia N9 or wait for sailfish phones ...
 
India would get the non LTE version I assume. Which processor does that version have?
Unless of course Reliance and Airtel are in talks with Samsung for a version that would be compatible with their tech?
 
similar hardware? much better processor. much better display. and do not forget, Sony would probably launch 4-5 more flagship models in the next 12 months. s4 would remain samsung's primary offering for at least 10 months.
