this voice focus is something new , tried but found no such difference

battery is draining a lot but I assume its normal after update.

Voice focus when receiving a phone call

You can turn on the voice focus in call mode when you receive a call. This feature will focus only on your voice and suppress environmental sounds.

Read it long back, but Samsung finally launched it in this update.

I have this since One UI 6.1 on my S23.

Looks like it showing Voice Focus in the dialer itself is what's new.

@Nishant could you please share in which settings you have Voice Focus. I am not able to locate it in my S23+.

Initiate a call (dial 198 for instance). Now swipe down the notification panel twice, and you will see an option called mic mode on the top. Tap that and you'll get the option of enabling voice focus.

Thanks @Nishant got the option.
It would have been good if we can permanently set it for Voice mode in Settings somewhere.

It is permanent. Whatever we set it there stays.
