Scammers on eBay India

Seller seems legit to me, if its cash on delivery, I do not think you should pay anyone other than the delivery guy. Send a mail to seller first and then eBay if he disagrees.

I had given order yo ship on 11th october and still the tracking shows that the seller has not yet shipped, should I cancel it and I have heard there is more chance of getting old or bad product through ebay. The steelseries headsets costs me about Rs 2999 on ebay while its aroud Rs 3150 to 3400 on other sites. Can we cancel order on ebay ?

Brought 2 cases from same seller. One case arrived little broken because of poor packaging. Other case was little late in coming even though the packaging was good.
Raised a claim with ebay ..and while uploading pics of broken case..I accidentally uploaded the pic of good case. Even then I got my refund. Heard ebay is lenient towards buyers but damn.

eBay is very lenient towards buyers and sometimes buyers also turn out to be fraudulent.
I am a seller on eBay dealing in phone cases.
A buyer contacted me as he wanted more photos of the product and also a discount as he bought 2.
For 2 days he pestered me on whatsapp asking for pictures from various angles as well as discount cause he is buying 2 pieces.
FInally we settled for a 15% discount
Post transaction he still kept talking to me on whatsapp asking for free screen protector, any free gift i can give him (seriously what a cheapster). He even started teaching me about the market trend as to what should i add and what should i stop selling. So he talked to me for 3 days on whatsapp.
the day item gets delivered he files an eBay guarantee claim saying item not as described seller phone number is constantly not reachable.
I asked him on whatsapp to atleast show a photo of what he has received and he sends a photo of some old phone cover lying with him and replies i have to attend a wedding i cannot talk to you. Such a miser.
Fills in wrong information in the guarantee claim, and easily gets his money back and also keeps the product.
It is so wrong that we sellers cannot leave negative feedback for buyers

the buyer filed guarantee claim today only. he will be getting a refund for sure cause he has fed false information in the claim.
I have experiences this in the past as well. It happens rarely but buyers do these kind of scams. And there is no point to communicate the issue to eBay. If i decide to call they will put me on waiting for at least 15 minutes for seller care person to take up the call. And then he will ask me to write an email and then some other seller care executive will give me a copy paste reply without even reading the complaint.
