We are repealing old acts, so in that spirit, there are other archaic provisions like Sec 377 of IPC which needs to be repealed. Crores of people feel they are criminal in the privacy of their bedrooms. Supreme Court has said multiple times that legislature needs to act and remove this archaic provisions of Sec 377 of IPC. We should act and repeal it immediately.

Regarding 377, there is merits in decriminalizing but there is opposition to it as well. There needs to be democratic consensus to repeal it. We need to debate, discuss and decide.
