I think i do not have luck to get SUN DIRECT. As the Water protest already started here in Bangalore against tamilnadu not sure how far SUN Dealers will support the booking. :wall::wall::wall::wall:But still i am finding the dealer who books the new connection., but still not successful :wall::wall:.

No Man, i called to the main dealer. They suggested some of my nearest dealer. But they are not ready to book the connection. Main dealer is 20 KM away from my place and he says additional charges for installation. I wrote letter to Nodal officer and got reply saying that "they want to discuss further about the issue". I have replied to them with my contact details. let me see how they are going to help on this...

I think their margin is 100 rs. so they not concentrating on distant areas from their place
Hello all,After a escalation email to the Nodal officer regarding a new connection, now sun direct is turned up to the customer need.:thumbsup:I had a call from Nodal office today morning and they were inquiring about the dealers who declined to book sun direct and made a note of them. They re-directed my call to the main dealer of sun direct. I got a response in 10 min . They collected my address and they said they will come and install * activate connection today itself. Such a quick response i have not expected from sun direct and i was not prepared. As today and tomorrow is working days i asked them to come and install it on Saturday.They agreed for that and they had talk with for 20 min regarding the connection issues happened.To be a surprise, they have visited to all of the dealers i reported and they advised them not to ignore sun direct booking. I got a call from two dealers asking for connection requirement and installation date from my area itself.Also the main dealer said that, Tata Sky/Dish tv is giving good credits to the dealers who sell more connection. That is the reason SUN DIRECT are not getting booked by many dealers and Agents. As SUN DIRECT charges only 1000 for installation , the dealers will get very less credit only when selling the connection.I am very happy that i am going to have DTH at my home from Saturday. Like this experience SUN DIRECT needs to improve its customer care also.Let me say TA! TA! to my Hathway cable from Saturday..., i am just waiting for saturday to experience the SUN DIRECT :yahoo:

I too got a call from sun direct next day when i sent a complaint mail for old dealers name in their site. But i did not attend that call as i thought that it may be a banks call for some policies as it was a fancy number and also i was sleeping that time. Again after 5 min i got the same call. Then also i did not picked as it was the same number. After that i pasted that number in google and found that was sun direct number. Then only i thought that they called me for my complaint mail. So i called to that number and told that i got 2 missed calls from this number but that lady told that this is sun direct and she asked me whether i know anyone there and i told i dont know anyone. Then she said sorry and kept the phone. But after 2 days they sent me a reply mail with new dealer name in my area. But by that time i booked in another dealer and waiting for the connection now. Very eager to experience sun dth.
05/04/2008.......BANGALORE................7:45 PM....................................AT MY HOME......................................YES!!!!SUN DIRECT has started beaming to my house from satellite. I have got my connection installed today eve. I my eyes were blinking at seeing the SUN DIRECT DISH at terrace my and STB near my TV.After a lot of discussion and suggestion from our forum memebers also a big fight with SUN DEALER'S/AGENTS/NODAL OFFICER, my dream has come true today.Shocking a wonderful clarity.... MY hathway digital cable is nowhere digital when i compare the clarity. I am could a see rich color experience on the picture, and good sound than my normal digital cable. I was just thinking even hathway too good on pic quality though not in all channels but in few.But seeing SD., awesome experience.My tamil package is going to be activated from tomorrow after i give a call to my dealer around 10-11 AM. I came to know all SUN channels are added into basic package now.. a new improvement.But, the installation guy collected me 25 RS additional for the additional cable wire as from terrace it requires 20 M to my TV inlet. Additional 5M wire i bought for 25 RS.But installation guy made a perfect wiring. As i stay in Multilevel apartments, my flats are well planned for wiring and did not want to see the wire over wall. Keeping in mind., he had made a good installation with the co-operation of flat guys. He took 2 HRS install the dish and STB ., but with perfection. So i gave something additional as his work is really nice. He took my 15 mins to know how i booked, what is the trouble happened and how the service can be improved and why the subscriber expect all those things.Also i gave a appreciation letter which he said it is an added points to him in his credit thru SUN DIRECT.So, guys please guide me if you have tricks and tips.CHEER UP SUN DIRECT.. YOU HAVE A BRIGHT FUTURE.:thumbsup:
