Showing as online on Gmail on a sold device

I sold my old HTC chacha to someone via olx, about 1 one month gone but I'm still showing as online(on g-talk)on my current device and other places like Gmail on pc etc... Its the same Google account I was using on that phone even I formatted the device before giving him.......now I'm not able to contact that guy and whenever in sending any IM to that account, not getting any response from other end..... Now what to do???

On gmail does it show you at the bottom from which IP your account is active other than your own device?

Yes. In Gmail you can go to the link at the bottom and sign out of all devices.
Secondly, I think from the play store there should be an option to delink that device from your listed devices.

How can I know the IP address accessing that account?? If anyhow I succeed to know it, what should be the next step....Is there any option from Google or else to sign out from everywhere completely and permanently through PC???Yes. Yes. There is an option to sign out of all devices. Better do that. You can always sign back in devices which you want.

Better option. Intall plan B or what was the name of that app and wipe the device

Well the buyer of the phone is not playing the fair game. He must be knowing that google account is still linked to the phone and this account can easily be mis-used. So best option wipe.

Well, he is sending IM assuming that guy is online. I would suggest sending an email and wait for 2-3 days. And why do it when there are other options available...

if he has not changed your pass , change it yourself , simple, and sign out, he wont be able to sign in again
this gtalk only works via email id right ? change your email pass man
