Sify Broadband Sucks

The sify officer was a person who was living in his own world , and nvr updated himself , on what is going out side (maybe 2 busy changing the IP's to get the good speed so that he can download the movies.. His comments were so "educational" that i actully thought that i have wasted so many years in this line without any knowledge and training one of the best teams in DSL technology in chandigarh. i wish that sify officer had remained more with us.. to entertain us.. WE SURELY NEED A REASON TO LAUGH NOW AND THEN.. donot we friends??

I think it depends on users to use the net to their full advantage.The users should have a good knowledge on computers first.
If your speed gets slower then just change your IP that's it .so simple. :angry:

its your job to keep your computer virus free ,not sify's job.This virus spreads thru LAN and if one system gets infected it spreads all LAN

LAMO I got 64kBPs connection never got download speed over 15 kBPs how do you get such a speed are you a maniac even when I switeched to 512 kBps I had 60kBPs max

Hello, I think you does not know what is virus and does not know what is a computer and then lastly I doubt you ever used SIFY . If you dont know about virus and computers donot post anything idiotic stuff here.I subscribed for montly unlimited connection but every day I need to call my local operator, I am ready to pay 500 bucks for additional maintainance charges if the operator is willing to provide uninterrupted connection for at least 20 days if not 30 days.I think this Sify Officer has lot of knowledge about virus and intenet Ip address, may be one day Bill Gates will sure get heart attack when he realises that all thease days he doesnot know that the windows can speed up intenet by just chaning ip address. In fact 90% users are very very unhappy about sify

Do you realise that SIFY is one of the WORST internet service provider, when you subscribe unlimited you hardly get 20 hours of internet per month. You need to call every day SIFY local operators for interruptions and most of the local operators say that the problem will be rectified in a few hours, but it will take many days to rectify.

everytime i think of changing my isp, sify stops pissing me off. its been working great since the past 2 months now without any disconnections whatsoever.

Forget the speeds, the customer service is worst.I have atleast one problem almost every month.they don't even rectify it in 24hrs.sify sucks

What the hell are you talking abt, I have sify unlimited 256k and I pay abt 1200 bucks, but, airtell has 256 k unlimited for 1000 bucks and the speed doubles at night so if u have 256k it will be 512 at night.Also I have been getting really crappy speed with sify for some time now and the only reason I still have sify is, because airtell say tht my area is not feasible and shit.And u work for sify.Die bitch.One more thing, I want to try changing my ip can some1 tell me how.

I am with sify for the past 1.5 yrs... everything was ok but problems every now and then.. like network not connected...... servers down... during rainy days u cannot connect... very poor service ok its all because of local CTO.....But now, for the past 3 months i am not getting connection. it seems there is some misunderstanding between the local CTO and Sify and this CTO is no more operating....But what will happen to my 2500 rs advance paid in the name of installation charges.....when i went to the sify in person and queried about this. they say that, thers no more sify in villivakkam and it ll take time to get a CTO there again.... then i queried about that advance amount that i paid. they say they cannot pay back.. what a hell is that... if they are not providing connection, then why do they still have that advance amount.what should i do now???????any similar issues. i heard its the same iin annanagar sify ... is it???
