Signal strength?

Hi guys,yesterday there was a heavy rain in chennai...i want to know about the signal strentgh during yesterday..did any one faced the problem of block out of channels yesterday?

No i didn't face any block out...normally my signal strength is 76% during rain i got 72-74% , i think that is the reason i didn't face any block out.Others did u face any problem during rainy hours?

I think deva can answer this question bcz he mentioned that during normal days his signal strenth is around 45-50%(as he mentioned in this thread)..So pls deva reply for it...

today technician from sun direct came to my home and rectified d problem.....now im getting 70-75% signal............today evening in very heavy rain 30-45 seconds signal is not available in stb......."no signal" in all channels.......

oh..for me installation is not yet done because of the heavy rain..today distributor called me and told that he will come today..but unfortunately it didnt happen today..so if technician come tomorrow..what should i took note of it?is it necessary to look into signal strength of all channels?and also tell me some other technicial things to look at the time of installation..

Arun, Just check the signal strength at the OTA screen of Auto Scan or Dish selection screen.

No other technical things are involved in this

Friends ratate the LNB either side slowly to get max signal level. in DELHI SUN DTH signal strength is upto 82% Max.in MPEG 2 STB. I'm only able to listen Suryan FM 3 RADIO. No doubt they will include all popular channels we have wait as they have not officially launched the SUN DIRECT. DISH TV took 24-30 months and Tata Sky 10-12 months to cross 01 million mark. The SUN may harldy take 01-02 months to cross the same marks after its pan india launch:thumbsup::thumbsup:
