Hi Friends

First time ever of my past 5 month BSNL connection, today morning I saw a BSNL server redirection saying ......

Since you have reached/exceeded 1GB you are redirected to this page

What the hell is this ? After that I'm being redirected to above page. But FYI, all HTTPS sites and my u-Torrent downloads are working fine. Only problem with normal browsing of HTTP sites :wall:

Then on the right top corner I logged in and they have asked me to click on "I Agree" check button after that again the browsing is working.

Note that, in Nov we have 3GB free usage and I' ve not even used 1MB (using 2-8) !!!

Any help ?
 
What is ur BB plan? If u r on Home Flexi 350 then u have a max usage limit of rs 1500/-
 
I'm with "Home 500C" plan with 1.5GB monthly Free usage and 2-8 NU.And I got this problem today only. Definitely I've not crossed my usage limit :wall:
 
yeah! looks like someone is playing around wid the BSNL users..hey guys! be careful while entering your id's and passwords..something is really fishy somewhere.
 
Nothing fishy.Since yesterday a message was scrolling in the data.bsnl.in site about it saying from 1st November alert system is going to be introduced and to stop page redirection users need to accept the terms and conditions.

I am from bangalore..Using HOME500C plan..(1.5gb usage)(0200-0800 NU)
Having the Broadband connection from 1 year

I had seen that message in Bsnl website BSNL - Broadband Account Management from 27-Oct-08
On November 1st.. i had downloaded around 4.5gb from Torrents from 0200 - 0800..
i switched off my modem at 0810Am

Again When i switched on at 1000..

i was facing the same problem and was always being redirected to

even bsnl and dataone websites were also being redirected..

I was not able to browse anything..(IE, Firefox or Chrome)
I was able to play online with hamachi and gtalk was also working..
Avast update was working and alos Rssreader

When i was redirected to that page

it was not accepting the Username and password..
I tried several times..

But the problem got rectified itself at around 1700hours..
so was able to look here

If it happens again..what to do..
Can anyone provide a solution..
