site problem

Hello,wanted to ask you that some sites like hotmail,yahoo are not opening when i use triband.initially i thought it was a virus,but when i connected my other net connection on my PC,they opened... what could be the problem...kindly reply!!!!

Check ur MTU is it 1492 or 1400 if not make it so. If you have the 'Auto' option use it. That should usually help or else use Open DNS

thanks for helping me!!! i have changed my MTU to 1400,but now hotmail is opening,but gmail and orkut are not opening!!! what settings do i feed in so that all my sites openP.S:- this was not a problem when MTNL engineer had done the settings for my modem,by mistake i just reset the settings on the modem,after which all these problems have started.pls help...............

Yes that's true, you will have to play around with the MTU to see what suits you best.
