Slow direct http downloads for the last 2 weeks

Well, actually you kind of motivated me to opt for BSNL. I don't regret at all. It's working good. International latency keeps on varying though. But that's not a big issue for me.
 
I find it hard to recommend BSNL Broadband to anyone based on my experiences but seriously... Airtel would need to UNDO a lot of things for me to go back to them.
 
Well. I have two options.
Get the Data Rate lowered and get better pings and reliability but with 2.8-3.2 mbps speeds.
Suffer poor connectivity during the day time but get much better speeds during evenings and nights.
I picked the latter :D
Pings and speeds are fine right now :)
 
You're on a 4 Mbps plan right? Switch to G.DMT modulation right away. Those CRC errors will disappear and your line will most probably stabilize. SNR margin is low.
Me on G.DMT:

It's stable as a rock.
