Slow speeds on Selected Devices

Model Name - JCOW414, this router also has a slowness issue. I am thinking to go back to Airtel, the one thing stopping is the free DTH box on Jio.

Hi, I took a Jio Fiber connection in April of 2023 and i notice similar issues. I won't be using it for long, hopefully, as we are planning to move. What I wanted to know was this issues are with the ONU, right? If I'm using a separate router, these issues wouldn't be there right? Has anyone tried like that?

I'm using a 150 Mbps plan currently.

So problems with jio fiber has started. With ipv6 enabled i am getting slow surfing experience on most websites which are on cloudflare.

if i just use ipv4 then all these sites like beoadbandforum are loading quickly.

Is there any fix for this or this happens regularly on jio fiber ?

@Rickysin I don't think "this happens regularly on JioFiber" since browsing is pretty fast for me even with IPv6. It could be your regional or local issue.

There is some routing issue with sites with CloudFlare CDN. Airtel and Jio users are being routed from Europe even if website server is hosted in India, so that could make it a bit slower on these two ISPs for you.

If its routing issue then why only ipv6 is affected? Ipv4 is having same route and ping yet fast site loading

No idea. Test your ping and traceroutes to any CF IPv6 address and then report it to Jio guys. It could be temporary issue which might resolve on its own too.

Anyway, I am not having this kind of issue, so I guess it is either your state specific issue or local issue.

@Rickysin i left jio for this kind of issue .... after 2yrs no improvement eh
