i have a problem regarding port forwardingi want to do this for my utorrenti tried that guide from portforward.combut that didn't workcan anyone please help me out

wellfirst it was on always onbut then the router had some problem to access the internetso i changed the modem settings by resetting it to defaultthen router did everything

1.Presume modem is in ppp/pppoe "always on mode" .Just try this. Connect the Rj45 from MT882 to Lanport1 of Netgear WiFI router.Lanport 2 goes to computer. Follow PF as given in portforward.com===>>> more

Yes. Earlier you might have connected like that.
The "red" port is called internet or WAN port.
Just try. I will be on line for another hour.
First try internet connection and surf.. Then try PF. wireless later.

Stage 1 : Try only with AX MT882 for portforwarding.
SmartAX MT-882 ADSL MODEM MENU
a) if you use "dialup" mode no PF required. Disable DHCP in modem.
B) if you enter your ID ( without @ bsnl.in )and password in modem WAN Page
select ppp/pppoe always on. enable Dhcp.
Now in IE http://192.168.1.1/hwhtml/pMain.html
see NAT portforward options. ( see PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall and select MT882 and the program/s you want to use ))

MT 882 settings as given in Calcutta Website.
Confirm OK. ( what mode dialup or always on )
2. try PF

Follow the screen shots. for guidance. modem pages may not look same. ( language yugoslav ? NO idea )
