@blr_p: I don't want to waste my time who believes that journalists in India are any good. The whole country knows about them, some people just don't want to face the truth.
Where did I say 'journalists in India are good' ?
They are mediocre for the most part, you can tell that because when you read or listen to them you have more questions than answers or your blood pressure rises. Thats a sure sign of bad reporting. For me if they were good i would have answers to the questions raised. That i get more with foreign media than i do with indian media.
On
tv there is very little that is good, the bulk is fomulaic fortunately i know with whom to spend my time with and ignore the test.
"A go between" - an easy way to describe something terribly unethical! Earlier, I had seen the moral high ground that these journalists used to take. Where is that morality in the face of these exposes?

There's supposed to be stds and the media is supposed to be self-policing but the impression is created that they don't take that too seriously. The problem is they take us for granted and they can do that because the industry isn't as competitive as it is abroad. Only remedy here is more leaks.
And liberalisaiton of the news industry, allow foreign competitors in and allow them to bring out India edtiions of their product. You will see change but as is the usual case the media here will cry foul and say news & current affairs is a 'strategic industry' and we cannot open it up to anybody. Keeping foriegners out allows thelow level low to endure.

Do you believe my CM will go to jail ? to believe that one has to also believe he is guilty. But thats now how the system works. The charge has to be backed up first otherwise he is free to go. He is in court only because there is a prima-facie case, nothing more.
Before June 4, the MPs & Ministers used to visit Baba Ramdev's shivirs. They all were praising him like anything. They also went to escort him to the airport at Delhi. And all of a sudden, after June 4, he became so bad, that theres all sorts of investigations going on around him. They havent been able to trouble him, thats a different story.

Until Annaji were not directly up against the centre, no 1 saw anything wrong with him. But the moment he started to raise his voice, he became "The most corrupt man on the earth, who is corrupt from head to toe?" Where were these same people, when Annaji did that corruption? Why didnt they point out at that time?
Arvind Kejriwal.......the matter that was pending since 2007/8, suddenly was brought up, JUST BEFORE THE FAST WAS SCHEDULED? If they claim he was wrongly paid, then whose mistake it is? Whose responsibility it is to check that the employee is still an employee or not?

Yeah, u r confident, coz u know Chidu will pay a hefty price to that Italian, who will then wave a magical wand over that RAT, who will in turn direct that SC cant intervene & then bring out his puppets - the CBI to investigate the case. And even before the investigation, they have the reports ready which mention "Chidu is clean".

no i'm not confident of anything but I have doubts he will be caught for anything. The worst that might happen is he will have to step down as home minister. This means he does not go to Tihar. I've yet to see any strong evidence to show otherwise. early days still.
If ur party has guts, then ask it to take the challenge & allow the SC to direct, independently. Next day, ur Home Minister will be in his rightful Home with his Partners in crime in Tihar........thats of course with a royal treatment, that he didnt get even as Home Minister!
Can you make your points without insinuating who 'my party' is whatever that means.
Who says they will not take the challenge, this case isn't going to be shut down. All they are doing is blocking, std practice. Whether you will actually win the case is an entirely different question but you will have your day in court.

now the only way a fair investigation can be done against chidu is by SC creating a neutral SIT to probe the charges against him. otherwise forget cbi or any other govt organisation whose boss is chidu to even start an investigation against their boss.
This is the general impression, so this case will illustrate very clearly why an independent ombudsman is required.
