I've been looking through all TP-Link related posts on this forum, I tried them all.

Attempt 1: Bridge mode: No mac clone

It's able to reach the pppoe server but fails at authentication PPPOE: RX AUTH...NAK

Attempt 2: Bridge mode on Ont, ppoe and mac clone on router
It can't even reach the pppoe server just stuck in discovering.

Checked the password and username they're the same but only works on ont.

I don't think there is mac binding going on, the EPON status page always showed Registered, mot authenticated. Any ideas guys?

This is how it's going now

Code:
45 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [pppoe]try special dial type 0

46 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [pppoe]TX PADI

47 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [pppoe]RX PADO, AC-NAME=bgl-cpf-dc-01, AC-MAC=02-00-5e-00-00-06

48 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [pppoe]TX PADR

54 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [ppp][CHAP]RX CHAP_CHALLENGE

55 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [ppp][CHAP]TX CHAP_RESPONSE

56 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [ppp][CHAP]RX CHAP_AUTHENTICATION_NAK

57 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [ppp][LCP]TX TERMINATION_REQUEST

58 INFO 0days, 00:01:17, [ppp][LCP]RX TERMINATION_ACK

59 INFO 0days, 00:01:18, [pppoe]TX PADT[session=0001]

If I clone mac it won't even reach the pppoe server. Gets stuck doing TX PADI. So I don't know where the binding is if there is one, on the olt or bsnl.

Ok so I tested with bbtest and it connected over pppoe. Definitely not on the olt, it's on bsnl's side.

The test account bbtest/bsnlmp works on the TP-Link but not with my account's login credentials. I've asked my LCO for a mac release, fingers crossed.

Should have worked then. When they introduced binding my USB ethernet stick MAC address was bound to my account since I was using it at the time. Now I use a different USB ethernet stick and copied the MAC address from the first one and things are still working. My guess is some bug in TP-Link routers. A reset/release will fix that.
