^ haha. there are hell lot of kids in this world with ridiculous amounts of free time. combine that with a smart brain and nothing is foolproof ever !!

I signed up for Hungama.com after reading through the 99/monthly plan. Although, I haven't subscribed yet - I'd need some feedback from those who have already subscribed.

1. Do they offer 320kbps or is it only 128kbps?
2. Can we re-download a song or an album after sometime? i.e, if our subscription has expired - can we still re-download the album/songs which we've downloaded before?

Don't ever think of it bro. Its Useless . I have subscribed to its service immediately after it was launched but unsubscribed within a month. Unlike Ovi Music , Hungama account need Rs 99 every month for keeping sings active.

Also, Even after paying you can not move songs to your Mobile . You have to listen songs only on PC :p

I guess now everyone will turn towards torrents.

The torrent sites are also gonna be banned sooner or later.

according to some ppl it is ok to not own what u bought in the 1st place and it is also right to buy a new license to listen to songs on every damn device u own again and again !
in other words it is ok to get ripped off ! :p

But I don't have to pay 2nd time for any song purchased from Ovi Music. Also I can listen to song both in my Mobile as well as my Laptop.

my statement was for hungama. coz u said u can't move it to ur mobile, it has to remain on pc only. not for ovi music.i made tht statement coz some ppl were advocating that just coz we buy a song doesn't mean we can do watever we please.

As I said before, please read the T&Cs when you "buy" digital content. Often what you are doing is simply obtaining a permission from the "real owner" to access the content. Now if you start presuming yourself to be an "owner" just because you paid money no one can help.

^ i don't need "help". i m more than happy to presume myself to be the owner !! :pjust because they decide they can rob me multiple times doesn't mean i m going to let them do it. as far asi m concerned they can rot in hell. i wud be more than happy to piss on their graves.

They are not robbing you. They gave you a proposal in the form of T&C's and you accepted. How is this robbing? If the T&C's are unreasonable you should look for an alternative or simply not use the service. I understand there can be a case of intentionally keeping prices high by a collusion between the leading market players. But then you have bodies like competition commissions to deal with it. And they often do act wisely.Personally I don't get the moral high-point in piracy. If you do it, fine. But why try justifying it? I did a lot of piracy stuff in my college days. I don't do it now.

neither do i bro. read my prev posts. i have given the example of what happened with gta4. inspite of having the original dvd i play a pirated one !! the original one lies somewhere deep inside a drawer now.and btw nobody ever bothered to take any action against them inspite of 100's of complaints. the world isn't a ideal place unfortunately. its not black n white. they r dealing with customers in a grey manner(using legal garbage to justify their crap) so am I with them. i refuse their t&c just like they refuse to sell lossless music(the way it was supposed to be heard) ! writing something in the t&c doesn't make it right. they can come after me for buying a song or game only once if that is what they want.and btw i got nothing against u . just putting forth my point :)
