Let's hope by 2022 it comes to India!
 
righto. if he does what he promises... some of us would be able to get 1gbps this year.
 
We in India are also making fast progress. Yesterday, Airtel raised the price of its 512 kbps unlimited connection from Rs. 1499 per month to Rs. 1599 per month in Delhi. Now they are giving some free calls too for this extra 100 bucks. ;)

That must be an old plan you might be on..Check this out..call your CC and change your plan

India is way behind even thought is has a very large growing internet usage, the problem is not that Indian companies cant offer speeds in MBPS or even GBPS on a affordable cost, the issue is that they don't want to offer. Why loos revenue offeing speeds in MBPS when that same bandwidth and speed can be divided between 10 people and make money from all?? This is the attitude of telecom companies.
