Spam calls from +91 120 312/320 xxxx

Getting 2-3 spam calls daily from these numbers since Sunday. Since Truecaller marks them, I don't even pick them. Usually they call during business hours, but got one today late. This AI comment thing caught my attention .

My search on this very site landed me on a post which mentioned that while reporting to TRAI, the offender called that user back to urge him to take the complaint back. Which is a privacy nightmare in itself.

I can see a 'block series' option in Truecaller but what if some important number gets blocked as collateral damage? How do you guys handle these situations?

reddit had some threads this week about spammers calling people who reported them. it happened to me long time ago but not in recent months. i suggest keep reporting them through dnd and keep blocking them.

If question was about blocking series on Truecaller. I do block if I notice pattern.
Few months back I was getting calls from Tata Capital through different Landline numbers almost 2-3 calls daily. It had first 4 digits common, so I blocked STD code and first 4 digit of that landline number.
I still get calls from those numbers, but are automatically blocked by Truecaller.

I recently blocked ahmedabad landline series as I was getting almost 3-4 calls daily from their series.

@SVK In my case only last 4 digits differ. And they never repeat the number ever. Also cause of work, both my home and office address are online. Would rather not report them to TRAI

It's wait and watch for me. Hope they give up on my 'lead' during this second week on their own. Else have to block the whole series
