This agreement is working behind the scenes on multi vendor networks

There is a reason airtel doing DSS

I also have a doubt regarding it, if Ericsson is purposely disabling ca , then why airtel is not doing anything about it, after all spectrum is airtel's, tower is airtel's ,they are the ones giving money to the vendors. They are they ones responsible to customers for bad 4g speeds isn't it. I think airtel is the culprit here, they have told Ericsson to disable ca to gain more customers or something like that.

These are my assumptions for disabling CA,

1) Airtel might told vendor managers to disable CA to cut lisence costs or airtel don't want us to get peak speeds to accommodate more users.

Or

2) Ericsson maybe be demanding airtel to get fresh CA lisence for more money.

Or

3) Compatibility issues between Ericsson and Huawei systems which is taking time to fix.

Well shouldnt Airtel have the control over the Ericsson equipment totally ? How can Ericsson disable CA on Airtel`s towers ? They need the access to management panel. I doubt if Airtel would want to give that
And I doubt if the laws permit a manufacturing vendor tweaking their stuff as if they are running it in their home

@shashankb It's still Huawei Equipment in Whole TN. They won't have License issues too they just need to tweak the Network. AP Circle it's different case Equipment is being Swapped and now totally no CA except some old AF Huawei towers

Guys, Vendors gives suggestions/road maps. Operators make decisions. Dont blame Vendors entirely on this. and btw operators are provided with every metric after any change in network with pre/post implementation. so if something is degraded or improved , definitely operators will know about it and they chose to keep it that way. there might be exceptions but this is the standard.

@droid True but not Optimising Network is vendor issue. Why would Operator tell vendors to not Optimise Network to handle even little load

Again, Vendors have Separate Teams dedicated for optimizing operations. its operators whim to chose how much to spend and in what way. i am talking about majority cases here . Operation/license cost will also have a play in this.
