ET had earlier reported that Airtel was piloting the technology in select circles, while Reliance Jio, the country’s only pan-India BWA license holder, was mulling over deploying LTE-U technology in the country.
Even two months ago, airtel network guy wearing Ericsson Id card came and acknowledged there is signal issues but still they didn't fixed it. All sites in my area are over shooting with each other causing enb frequently change
@vishal_k Yeah it was very good during the intial years, i remember during the 2018 year , when i was on airtel i used to get very good speeds with 2ca with b3+b40 , speeds were around 20 to 30 mbps even within my house, after they disabled ca i was getting 2 to 3mbps max on b3 5mhz. even though they reframed b1 , i only got b1 on a single instance and the speeds were of 20 mbps , so i am suspecting its on siso only
In 2018 before B1 I used to get upto 95Mbps in home without CA. In 2019 after B1 speed dropped to 50Mbps due Sinr drop but got 3CA device with 3+40+40 speeds were upto 120Mbps indoors. In 2020 Ericsson came 3CA Disabled now max 2CA Speeds are 40Mbps
So since last 4 years it's been only major downgrades on Airtel nothing improved. Even 4x4 Mimo on B40 was disabled in 2019 but now Enabled this year 2 weeks ago
