You get it right but BSNL doesn't !
I get maximum of 3.45mbps even at night hours ..
I will never gonna get *4mbps* because the line rate should be atleast more than 4mbps (preferred 5mbps) in my case it is exact 4092kbps (4mbps=4096kbps)
I told this thing to SDO and NIB , but they said that we can change speed profile because you are on 4mbps plan -_-
DUMB BSNL :@
You on 4mbps plan ?

BSNL gave me 3999kbps line rate and yes i am on 4mbps plan but today i shifted to tikona who give REAL 4mbps with 80gb and after 80gb the speed will be minimum 512kbps-1mbps depending on the traffic

Can u plz post speedtest result ? (Mumbai sv preferred Joister Infomedia) how much u are paying ? and is the connection relaible ? (coz i have tikona in ma city but reviews make me to stick with bsnl)

Connection is all set up but I will get the password for my user id tomorrow so I will post speed test and ping results and it's 1499/month
If you go for Tikona so go for monthly plan because quarter-yearly, half-yearly plans are crap as they have less GBs than monthly plans

There is also a 999 plan which have 2mbps 50gb fup

2 Mbps with 50 GB FUP for 999 ? :amazed: I wish I had more options than BSNL.

Well guys let me clear one thing regarding Tikona..even though their plans are very very good,u will come to the real thing only after getting the connection..there will be frequent disconnections, with frequent i mean like 4-5 times per hour sometimes..and if u call customer care the only response u get is "everything is fine from their side..pls switch off the modem n try again.."
I can say this bcoz presently i m using Tikona..soon i will shift to BSNL..
