SS Music added on Channel Number 812

@mirzarocxactually i use normal cable connection to view all tamil channels as TS only provide few channels in chennai the normal cable connection costs 100rs and i have subscribed for annual south jumbo pack where i would get max pay channels so it doesnt affect me

You could have mentioned the channel no as 704. If at all SS music is added, i guess it would be placed at 704 rather than 812.
From where Tamil channels numbering starts, is it from 810?
8XX number series is reserved for Regional channels.

If 801 to 819 is filled with Tamil Channel, Tata Sky can use 726 to 799 for tamil channels,:cool2: so no need to wory about the channel numbers. Tata Sky may add around 95 tamil channels without any channel number problem. :dance::dance::dance:

TATASKY (like SKY UK) follows a numbering system for channel as
1XX - National Channels
3XX - Movies Channels
4XX - Sports Channels
5XX - News Channels
6 & 7 series for Music & Kids channels
8XX - Regional Channels
In regional also they have further categorised like
801 - Tamil
...
831 - Marathi
etc
This channels are mapped by Language Flag data in transmission, and any new channel added is according to its category in above series.
As thread title mentions channel number '812' which fall under Tamil channel, thread looks real
But as it is 'April Fool' thread, it would be better to rename thread to 'April Fool' after 1-2 days and close thread, or it will keep growing like 'Raj TV' thread

One more Breaking news shown on ALL INdia Radio that Tata Sky is upgrading all subsriber to TS PLUS free of COST
and they are also removing restriction to copy data frm hard disk so from now on u get free TS PLUS upgrade + u can trasnfer any of ur fav serial to urs PD/HDD.
