1.) The protest is for 24 hours max and if you are planning to do it with IST , its already 12 hours late.
2.) I do agree wikipedia has become one center for all info , it exactly also says how important it is . So one day of opposing the SOPA with total blackout is good pre-emptive move , than be taken off the net and remain such till legal battle is won (post -sopa)
3.) When people are totally blocked from wikipedia , they will know the seriousness , or else it becomes like just aother "POP-UP" message. Also Wikipedia going down for technical reason (http://mashable.com/2010/03/24/wikipedia-is-down/ ) is acceptable ?
4.) IMHO , forum should be taken down and we can discuss about SOPA later , i mean just show some unity when all other sites are joining the fight ..
5.) regarding Indian law , well we can surely orchestrate such blackout soon , when we know how well it affects us.
Serioulsy we also need to take a indepth look into our IT laws.

Make no mistake, even if SOPA and PIPA were somehow passed in the congress and senate, i don't see it becoming a law.Not in 2012. For gods sake, it's an election year. Obama will Veto it. He has an election to win
