lol @Vigil idiot! I thought its another review by some movie "Critic" but thats funny. @toocool your point being?
man songs are catchy! didn't liked them when heard just mp3's but after seeing songs in theatre, they're good! 
lol toocool ..that is deep. Both the guys and the heroine acted well.

Movie was entertaining ..had good time Alia bhatt does kissing scene and bikini scene in her debut movie! she'll go a long way in bollywood 
Toocool ..movie also says mindless student of the year contest is wrong and ****ed up concept and those two guys become friends again in the end. Also that coach accepts he's wrong. You chose to see the negative things in the movie (but they're true ..like parents forcing students to be nice to rich guy, etc) and leave out the positive parts! I'll just mention that beauty lies in the eyes of beholder.
Also seeing ferraris(another intersting part ..ferraris have ferrari logo in the front part and Mercedes benz logo on the back side lol) didn't make me go do something bad! It just made me remember to study harder.
well one of the biggest relations which they shown broken in the movie(son and father)...........they didnt show that has been sweetened , secondly , on what basis the friends united in the end??? same old childish stupidities and because RO had slept with 100 girls............wow . what abhi wanted to achieve was not rohan's friendship but his girls............lol , kidding.
but it truly made no sense . also shanaya now being abhis wife and rohan ex, .........its never ever a good idea to be friends with ur ex and his husband , and they sown exactly that .........next they will propose a 3some in next part???
and mind u i have always felt that in new age films ,they show all the wrong things for extended period of time and just a 15 minutes climax showing all that 2 hours things were wrong is plain bullshit.
young ppl are more attracted towards the darkside easily , and they just dont get the right part in the end , my feeling

So what was the reason of the enemity between father/son? Rest all seems pretty easy to follow. And I am reading that this competition was on for so many years, and because of one quick outburst, Rishi Kapoor goes into depression & regrets breaking friendship & all of this gang.. What about so many others he would have broken the previous years... And the guys seriously look very old, college guys, maybe. But, high school? seriously? But then when SR-K can play college guy at 33 & Aamir at 40+, then who am I question it.
well father was a super rich businessmen who sees everything from business point of view, never had time for son and all, and son was into music playing and all , father and his elder son used to make fun of kid son all the time ,never took him seriously and thought he was a loser .and one day both had a fallout , son said i can live without ur money dad , dad said go and try the world *******
I even wonder why the fat guy even bother trying when he should have probably known there would be a race & stuff in the end...I mean joining for fun is one thing, but whats the point of being serious, when you need luck (treasure hunt as a team), physical games are there etc...
Not seen the movie, so no clue.. But, did we see him working hard, shedding kilos and stuff? If yes, then I agree with you. If not, I see no point in creating a drama at end.If I am pitted against Chris Gayle, I would look to have some fun & see if I can hoodwink while he is over-confident & half-asleep, if possible. But to go out & think I would beat him somehow & be passionate about it is exaggerating it...
