Sudden speed drop from 752Kbps to 256Kbps on DSL_Unlimited_749 plan

I was using my MTNL connection last night 8 ish and it was fine. The usual 55 kilobytes per sec on the 512 kbps connection. So I don't think it is a problem with all MTNL customers. Not even all Andheri East guys as both Karan and I are from there. Different exchanges though. Since they changed my modem it has been smooth sailing so far except the first day when I had low speed which I thought might have something to do with a worldwide problem due to the Earthquake/Tsunami the same day.

I am still getting low speed.....damn what the hell is going on??Today I again called MTNL......person there said even he is having some prob with net.....but he was not clear....hope it get solved.

nothing happened to mine though a few days ago there were DNS and gateway probs but now its normal but upload speed is less download is the same
