Suggest an External HD TV Tuner Card !!!

There are many with SD capabilities but couldnt find any with HD capturing to laptop via USB. Can you source through newegg ? Try searching on that site.

Aver Media is having HD USB, but I am confused if it will serve my purpose.

One quick and best option is Sling Box, but it costs Rs 14400 which is double by financial limit

analog is those multi color cables I think and its non HD..

But I think its Cable TV bcoz they work on Analog Mode and STBs work on digital and encrypted mode. Its Damm confusing yaar :russian_roulette:

u need to look fr a tuner which has PC support and not the ones which have LCD and plasma support..

Even DVB-S2 card will work for me , but will it work with STB. I mean to say encrypted signal etc won't be issue or something else ?

^ DVB-S2 card will work provided you are directly connecting the cable from your dish to the card and the signals are unecrypted for example all the DD channels on that satellite which DD uses (forgot its name). But since you are using d2h or any other dth service which uses a STB (decryption is taken care by the STB) you will need a card which has either component input or HDMI input to capture the signals transmitted by your STB.
