Suggest me a Modem cum Router with wi-fi

Techie guys please suggest me a good Modem cum Router with wi-fi facility.
Till now I am using MT882.

Recently I applied for a new broadband connection and opted for a Type IV modem but BSNL can only provide me another Type I, so I opted out.

My requirements:

1. Using PPPoE dialler so that I can connect and disconnect easily and fast.
2. My present modem will not be used (I mean,assume that I have no modem or router).
3. Using with Windows Vista.
4. Using with Lappy.

^ But I don't want to use modem+rouer i.e. two devices. I want to use only one device like bsnl Type 4 modem.Which model in that link is similar to that one? I don't want to use it in always on mode.PPPoE dialling is must.

Please confirm which one is better? I am just leaving home to buy.

I went to shop yesterday and the shop owner who is known to me suggested me to buy Netgear DG834g priced within 2K.He told me that it's itself a modem and wi-fi router i.e.3-in-1. I told him that I would come back later.
