POP means Point of Presence i.e. i guess it is like boxes/Exchange Point from where connection to other customers in your locality would be given to. I m not sure what they are talking about here, but some times back my cousin got spectranet cable broadband Box installed on his roof & he is getting free Broadband 512 kbps till date. For BSNL broadband they called the nearest T.E. as their nearest POP for giving broadband.
yeah he said that from next year he can get me off the billing cycle (as of now i will be paid Rs6000)
so as i said in the previous post. The pop box does like a exchange we'l its not a concern for us. So if u have CPE Box near ur premises and in tat Port should be free and they'l allot u a connection. till then they would have to do all the above things in case of unavailability
when i was filling the form they said that CPE is must and if they need to setup a POP they will call me.so is it worth keeping a POP on roof without any problems ??/ask for refund ??
