Sun Channels????? Blindfolding Us !!!
Do not expect Sun Channels before 23rd September 2007 coz only after their offer is over will Can"t This Ever Get Over?

Just now i got something into my mind... Why Sun is delaying channels to dishtv and Tata Sky.. here it is what i think..
If they had not agreed out of court, then TDSAT would have ordered them to give channels in 3 days.. then sun would have had to give them before they could launch their own DTH.. so i think that is the reason sun opted to settle it out of court so that they can delay it until their DTH is launched..

Are you kidding? Do you think that TDSAT would have ordered SUN to provide the channels in 3 days. You are day dreaming. If they have not opted for out of court settlement, there would have been numerous postponement of hearings.

I think the new TRAI recommendations give sun breathing space; the old agreement (the emails the two exchanged as per the last hearing) is no longer valid; sun has to offer the channels on la carte basis to all dth service providers within 45 days, after being asked. Sun will use this new guideline to delay the offering by 45 days max or till sun dth is launched. We will not get sun before that.

There have been a lot of rumours floating around saying that there will be a price hike of atleast 50Rs on the subscribers side for having these channels, i would like to comment on the fact that i Still have my cable connection and the cable guy gives me all the sun channels and the rest of the fta channels for less than 75Rs. I would also like to assert on the fact that all the subscribers would appreciate a complete sports package including 2 Channels from NEO, Zee Sports, Goal TV and all the channels being broadcasted in India.
