Sun Direct HD DTH Service

Why should I be satisfied??? I want to watch star world and zee cafe in dvd quality just like what sun direct states in the their memos like in the first post of this thread, but instead I'm getting average quality picture for these channels. It's not worth the money I'm spending. Now you say I should be satisfied with what I get?? Sun direct is not doing me any social service for your information. I have just 2 more months left of my subscription and I'm going to stick to free torrents which give much better quality than sun direct...

If Zee cafe and Star World are your primary viewing channels then you should not have chosen to watch in DTH. They are in good quality in cable only. Zee Cafe is somewhat good in DishTV. But StarWorld is average.

^^that is not my point friend. They have mentioned in their press release that all the channels on their platform are dvd quality. So, you are agreeing with me that not all channels are dvd quality. So you are also agreeing with me that sun direct is misleading its customers by spreading false information.

i want to ask u one question? diff bet sun network vs win tv in terms of video clarity............fault in terms of broadcaster side not in dth.......

Not all DVDs provide the same quality. Some DVDs provide excellent quality and some provides only average quality. This is just like that.

But all the channels are of DVD quality only.

All SunGroup channels quality is of HQ DVD. and as u said other pay channels provide average DVD quality. Thats it.

Are you saying that the broadcast quality of our local sun channels are more superior to international channels?Oh btw there is no such thing as HQ DVD, there is only DVD5 and DVD9. I think you should know that since you are an encoder at majaa?

y sun network channels no1 in south india is video clarity of their broadcaster..........if u see some old movies on tv channels they do not so good in clarity...sun cannot do in video clarity (they r getting signal from brodcaster & transmit to u)..........if u see video clarity of star movies on sun dth...they r very best........video clarity is up to broadcaster not in dth

Again, brother, I am asking you, are you positive that the broadcast quality of sun network is better than an international broadcaster like WB, MGM, ESPN, Ten sports etc. in India? Are you saying that international broadcasters give poor signal to india because india is a poor country??

I am not talking about indian channels...Why does star world look better in cable than sun dth? Does that mean the star world on cable is better than dvd quality?
