I have my own doubt if there will be any takers for HD chanels paying Rs 100 per month ..may be if all HD channels will be priced Rs100 per month,it may be attractive.As they are not going to get enough subscribers,they will not be able to reduce the price and it may be just there as a prestige ....no one in India care about quality...so marketing HD is difficult.More then 50% are happy with cable quality.

Guys, these prices are inevitable but only for some time.Let other players launch the service and i think in about a years time per channel cost will be down to Rs 25. Yes, it still is expensive, as Rs 25 per HD channel is above the package cost.

The source is SunDirect only.
But it is done in a series of steps.
This is not the right thread to discuss.

Now iam dreaming about SunDirect HD.
I need to change everything. The STB, My Television, my TV Capture Card and my PC too. I require an AMD athlon X4 processer to do rip SunDirect in HD.

Look at this page Sun Direct HD Even the audio is 5.1 in HD and video 5x sharper than Standard Definition.
