Why do i need technical details? Would you rather believe technical data than your eyes when looking at a picture to judge quality?

the fact is SD's transmission is dvd quality only &to prove otherwise u need to give some technical details..
just u can see will not suffice..
1. a cd can hold 700 Mb and a dvd 4.3 Gb?
2. ok, you've proven that you don't use autogk, but why bring it up for tv transmission?
3. compression artifacts make SD's transmission of star world dvd quality when compared to the equivalent without the artifacts that I saw on digital cable?

procoder? i've only dabbled in megui and avisynth. yes, there's no connection whatsoever, which is why I asked what's the connection between quants and tv broadcasting. you should check out the satcodx site for transport stream figures...
