sun dth new pakage

Did any one start getting Star News and Star Gold.

As per the link Sun Direct on Insat 4B at 93.5°E - LyngSat it shows that these channels are in there..

Anyone got this channels..

hai, friends, Glad to see u here, My Sun Direct STB disbled many menu option like add TP , delete TP , Manual search, Channel edit. How can i access these features. Factory default may fix this problem But I don't have idea about that, Anybody help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

You can do the factory default by selcting that opetion. you have to enter the password 0000. the screen will immediatly goes blank. dont worryThen initial set up will start to install. for initial set you shoul select the satalite,lnb power etc.So before starting this you should write down the parameters in the dish option in menu. The parameters you can see in dish menu u should enter while initial setup.ok so try this very carefully

hey!did ya noticed that all those testing channel names changed to CH-01-xxx format and fixed in correct positions in channel menu?what next?is there any OTA updates coming?esp openTv s/w

^Yes,those "S test,CV-1,Mosaic test" etc displayed earlier is now renamed as CH-01-xxxDo a manual scan and see

I did manual scan..couldnt see any changes..For me MOSAIC test is removed..what about u guys?

Hey guys you r talking about the introduction of new channels in sun dth.

But something struck me after I checked the channels here:
Sun Direct on Insat 4B at 93.5°E - LyngSat


I think even you have all noticed that.

Sun dth totally has 7 transponders. so around 170 - 190 channels.
(taking 25+ for each trans)

Currently 127 channels have come up here.

Will they be able to bring all the channels in the remaining space.
