Hi all, Is it possible to take a BSNL Broadband connection in a rented flat ?. I have heard somewhere that they dont accept your rent agreement and require either a Electricity Bill or a Ration Card to get a new connection .

I just gave my PAN card xerox for the connection and currently I live in a rented flat

^^ Most people dont have address of rented flat on pan card. If you have that address on pancard/license or u can get a copy of bill from landlord then you are good to go .

If you already have a BSNL landline connection, you won't need anything except the form.If you don't, you are usually asked to take a landline connection first. Then you can apply for Broadband connection over this number. But before filling up for landline, just confirm the feasibiliy and availability of BB in your area.In this case you would need following:1) Photo Identity: A) Driving License/Arms License/PAN Card or so listed on form.2) Address Proof: A) Rental Agreement copy B) Copy of latest Electricity/Water/Telephone bill of LandLord3) A PP size photo of applicant.Cheers,Vipin.

@SurferIf you have an bank account mentioning your present address then it's also Ok.

thanks all for your reply ... i have heard that the waiting time in pune for taking a BSNL conn/Broadband is six months
