Venkat Prabhu has just completed Goa and is looking to move on to a new film. There were reports that he could direct Ajith, but the project did not materialize. Now, the director has decided to direct his younger brother Premji Amaren.

Premji made an impressive mark in Chennai 28 and also starred in Venkat Prabhu’s Goa. With this yet-to-be-titled film, the actor will debut as a hero. According to Venkat Prabhu, the film will be of the comedy-action genre. The movie will be produced by Amma Creations’ T Siva, who had also produced Venkat’s Saroja.

Looks like director Selvaraghavan has moved on to GV Prakash’s music. The musician has been signed up to compose the music for the forthcoming Selvaraghavan film in which Vikram stars. When asked if he would return to Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, the director said that it is not possible anymore. It is important to note that Yuvan and Selva together was a hit combination as all the music scores in Selva’s movies were smash hits.

Gautham Menon seems to have struck a chord with Silambarasan during the making of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. With the film turning out to be a grand success, the director is already contemplating his next film.

When asked by the reporters if there is a possibility to work with Silambarasan in future, the director’s reply was affirmative. He hinted that talks are already on with Silambarasan for their next film together. Gautham said an announcement would be made once things fall in place.
