Tata Sky Can add up to 200 Channels !!!!!!!!!!

Cost is no problem for me. Because even I can pay more money for this channels. We are curruntly wacthing more than 70 channels which is only 4Rs/ channels which even lower than CAS.

Keep your plan open and make an entry for new channels.

Even with me there is no problem in paying more. They will definetly provide more variety for the future and i still belive for Tata Sky they belive in quality rather than keep on adding unwanted channels. I think if govenment gives permission for exclusivity for DTH providers, I belive tatasky will benifit a lot more than Dish TV. This is becuase of Sky channels. They can bring sky channels now but the problem is it will have to share with dish tv also provided if dish tv is interested.

Who decides what is unwanted.It should be left to the consumer. We should have choice.Star has minor stake in Tata Sky. They share their content with anybody as per market-demand.

when we could get 200 channels in Tata Sky, as of now there is no updates on sun, zee, neo we are now downtown then dishtv. We could request tatasky cc to give most important channels going for 200channels.

do you really think is it feasible, that they would reach 8 million by 2012 keeping this in Mind that some new players are also coming to the market by this year end Like Relience, SUN and Bharti and aslo existing Dish tv. having presence of other four Players in the market its really tough....i don't think they will acheive this.

Its not our problem its their problem. I would be interested in the government regarding deregulation on STB to use other service provider in DTH. Eg., in our mobile phone if we are using airtel for some months and if not interested we could go to other service provider just changing the sim card. I would be great if government comes into this kind rules in the future.

Six months back I compared both Tata Sky and Dish TV. TataSky was much superior at that time and I opted for TataSky.And again I checked Dish couple of days back. Now there is not much difference in terms of quality.I think all DTH providers will have same quality in the long run.Content only makes difference.

I think MUST-SHARE applies to only Indian channel, but it does not apply to international channels and international channels can make agreement with any (1 or all) of DTH provider.
If SKY ever comes, naturally it would be on TATASKY just like 2 BBC channels

Yes. Once 10 more good channels come then Tata Sky will be the best! Any foreign channel exclusive on Tata SKy will be the best!

no their firmware doesnt support it or stb might not be fast enough to decode mpeg4
