Even if you decide to ignore it, the fact that sticks out at the very top centre makes your eye to have a look at it unwantedly. Besides yellow on dark background makes it all the more visible.
Even if you opt for Airtel what would be the guarantee that they would not do it. I mean all these companies are in tne same business.. Monkey see, Monkey do.
My uncle(Mama) had a horrible time with Airtel DishTV and I decided to never opt for it. The only option was Tata and now this happens.
I think users would be ok with it if it was non obstructive, like somewhere along the edges or when it is not easily distracting.
