Tata Sky+ DTH Service: Can anybody test the USB Port functionality?

Hello the proved Tata Sky+ ownersCan you test the USB Port in your STB by connecting a memory card or thumb drive in it that contains assorted set of files in different formats.So that we can know what are the files types we can playback via the STB with the help of USB Port.I don't think this kind of feature be missed from the marketing team.I think think the USB Port will be used only for re-flashing the STB.Still i want you vet truth.

USB port is added in Tata Sky Plus for FUTURE Use.

USB Port is lifeless now. Nothing happens when you connect to it.

I think it won't be used in the future too.
They won't unleash such a big feature with just a firmware update.
I think it is being used only to re-flash the Firmware into the STB.

well, i think i have mentioned that before in passing also before in my posts that these functions are right now disabled by TS
