yes i am getting sun channels now.

Are we getting sun channels now or its blocked until we choose the package. Please clarify on thins :rofl:

You wont get sun channels untill u call CC and ask for it.
Today morning I called CC and activated for south jumbo, then only I got the channels

Don't u guys think Rs. 50 for Sun Channels is too expensive... They should have added neo and some other channels too before increasing the price by 50 ... Although Sun channels r of no use for me but for my south indian friends it must be bit expensive... isn't it ???
channels will appear in the list but you won't be able to see them until you call cc and choose one of the packages. Best option for southies (esp ppl from TN) is to go for south + western package which will cost the same 300 rs. Instead of hindi channels you will get 15 Sun channels.

Don't u guys think Rs. 50 for Sun Channels is too expensive... They should have added neo and some other channels too before increasing the price by 50 ... Although Sun channels r of no use for me but for my south indian friends it must be bit expensive... isn't it ???
Personally hitman my view is that Rs. 50 for sun channels is may or may not be expensive but i feel this price hike might be related to forthcoming channels also like neo channels. I belive they bring a package where for Rs. 350 all the channels are available including sun & neo.
They are not a crack to add Rs. 50 for sun channels alone they would thought for the future too.

So Guys Tata Sky has increased their subscription rate from Rs.300/- to Rs.350/- if you need to watch all the Channels. Dish TVs package is much better than Tata Sky.

Asianet, Asianet Plus, Asianet News, Surya, Kiran, Kairali, Kairali People, Kairali We, Amrita, Jeevan, Manorama News, IndiaVision, YES (Indiavision), Bhaarath TV, Jai Hind + Tamil Channels (I do not know the list)
Kannada / Telugu
(Somebody please list the number of channels available in Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh)
These should have covered the taste of the South Indians + the rest of the English / Hindi channels which is available on their platform.
The package is designed in someway that a South Indian is forced to take the South Jumbo pack so that he can get all the South Indian Channels (because in the other two packages Surya TV & Kiran TV is missing) and in the other package Asianet and Others are available.:wall:
SO let us all wait and watch Until Reliance, Bharti and SUN DIRECT has to offer ?

Dish TV has a combination of southern regional channels. But it helps only a set of people. Somebody interested in Tamil and Telugu must pay all the 4 regional channels. I think in TN there is a high percentage of people who speak telugu.

Dish TV has a combination of southern regional channels. But it helps only a set of people. Somebody interested in Tamil and Telugu must pay all the 4 regional channels. I think in TN there is a high percentage of people who speak telugu.
