@gomfi - I have the Hybrid Box and everything seems to be working fine. I don't have any of the issues reported by other users like bad color reproduction, denial of third party app installation, etc. so hybrid STB is the one your after but I guess that's not a decision we can make. :/
 
We can install third party apps which are not supported by JioSet Top Box into it?

What is the model number?
 
When I said third party apps I was talking about apps not pre-installed on the STB like VLC, Kodi, ThopTV etc. I created this post, you can check the STB specs on the first page.

What is the Android Version you have on your box?

Also, Can you show some pics of box and the outer packaging box so that I can tell the executive?
 
Like I said you can check the first page of this post for details of the STB, it runs on Android 9. I think there's already pics posted in one of the posts.
 
Hello! I did book my appointment for the STB Delivery for today. But, Jio Executive cancelled it without even calling me.

Reason: Customer declined and showing no interest at the time of delivery.

He didn't even visit me or pressed door bell.

Upon complaining to Jio Team, they have said "You first have to recharge and then only STB will be given to you".

I am asking you all, is it the right case or anyone have received STB in recent days without moving to paid plan?

Or did you recharge first to receive STB
