Thanks to CODE INJECTION , I am getting Someone else non-bill payment error

how are you guys landing on http pages in the first place. it's a rarity at my end these days.

and yes... two things one can do about this.

1. file complaints through available channels and at least aim for getting it disabled on your own connection. iff i believe is has already filed a complaint about this. donate to them, send them information about the latest servers being used to inject codes and other details. bsnl would not stop doing it unless courts or the telecom department shame them into do it.
2. find a low latency VPN. improve your routing and get around these ad injections.

the important thing to understand here is that this is not a security issue at bsnl's end. they are doing it intentionally. to make money. they are not hacked. this is not a malware problem. this is pure and simple assholery on part of this company.

Agree with @Sushubh, for me my local isp is providing far superior service than bsnl but whenever i use bsnl as a backup up, i use warp+. It does routing better than bsnl and those ads doesn't pop at all.

I land up in about 5-10% of webpages which isnt https everyday.. (More time = More websites to browse)

I do have the ip address which is injecting the script to block on PC , I am trying to block those address on bsnl ont modem , if anyoone could help me , please do .. I tried but couldnt quiet figure out how to do that.

I do have HTTPS everywhere add-on. the problem is when i browse with my mobile on these wifi..

The core issue here is those who are untrained , will go and pay that bill WRONGLY thinking they are paying for their own.

I contacted one of the BSNL guy , he too said he doesnt know how its happening , ie FTTH user getting a landline number unpaid notification. He said he will inform the technical department.

I asked him about the script injection , he acknowledged but said he is helpless regarding that.

I got good contacts with SDE BROADBAND at local exchange and he added me to DND list on first call.
Complaints are necessary to get yourself to DND list unless you know someone in BSNL exchange.
Just type barebone complain, not on bsnl pg portal, but central government pg portal as it get more attention.

@Realme
I got to know the SDE during recent BOTNET attack.I complained and received their call.
Then, sent them traceroutes and virtualized routes.
He got a good impression.
Even yesterday,i helped him sort an issue with OpenVPN.One of their ftth user had issues with VPN as he needed to work from home.I just told him to temporarily allot static ip to user and get it whitelisted from his company for time being as bsnl have issues with peering and airtel looking glass got some issues.
Now,the comoany allowed direct connection and ping reduced drastically to 100 ms from 900 ms.
Just luck....😅
