surprising. i guess they are showing him as a good guy in this one. so he forgives him after reading that voice mail?

Yeah apparently so, infact with the re-boot they have deviated a lot from Stan Lee's Spiderman which was mostly covered in the trilogy.

As a movie the experience was great, did enjoy the reckless and adamant portrayal of Peter Parker/Spidey by Garfield.

The lizard is a great character, but as said earlier his intimidation was too less. They could have touched a bit of more sci-fi section in the movie, the comic part where Peter Parker himself is affected by the mutation (the same one as the lizard) which accelerates it and he becomes a six legged spider. (might come in the future installment of the franchise).

If someone missed, there were end scenes after the credits as well.

crap. i thought about staying for the end scenes. but had not heard about them so did not. :D would have to hunt for them now.

@chromanic It was for 15-20s or so but the main dialogue in it is at 2:40 of this trailer itself !https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16AwVWvjQhYJust have to guess who's the one saying it to the doc. :DBtw, Did anyone else find Irrfan Khan's accent and facial expressions retarded?

right. caught the mobile recordings on youtube. so they had that part in the trailer itself. nice. i have not read spiderman comics so hard to say who the next villain could be. youtube said electro or green goblin. and yes, Irrfan Khan did not do a good job. at least he did not make a fool out of himself like anil kapoor.

@mhsabirWell, since I've got nothing better to do these days, I might as well :P--Ah, the post credits scene. Once word got out that there was a scene post credits, almost the entire crowd rushed back in !

Looked Osborne to me, as Irrfan Khan whined about his health over various scenes in the movie and they didn't end up explaining the whats and whys to it. So might be Green Goblin all over again.

what was wrong with Osborne? :D i do not remember.

"Osborne is dying, he cannot wait" I'm sure Irrfan Khan said that like three times in the movie. Duh :D

AFAIK His purpose in the movie was to force Dr Conners to do the human experimentation, so that he could give that toxin or whatever to cure 'osborne (his boss), and Conners ended up trying out on his left arm first.

the first movie in the spiderman series... the guy who becomes green goblin was not dying from what i remember. that's why i asked!

Ohh i thought you were referring to this one.
I'm sure they wont adapt Stan Lee's plot in the next movie once again. It has one of the stupidest and the most controversial deaths in comic history where Goblin throws Gwen off a bridge, Spiderman tries to save her with a web sling, gets her by the neck and snaps it. All this to move Gwen off the Peter Parker-Mary Jane relationship plot. :P
