The death of 2D HD: 3D HD DVR Officially launched by Videocon d2h

Ok, so if theres a TV Tuner in PC, that supports HDMI 1.4, then can it be viewed on PC, even though i dont have a 3D TV??

Avermedia makes few 3D capable TV tuners .

@ RaditzC'mon, i cant download a 45 GB file for Demo & a separate 45 GB file again to see the movie itself!!Btw, the demo i put on download, was complete, and as u said, it looked blurry - in fact, in regular media player, i saw 2 separate stream of videos - yes, it was Split screen. I got a Stereoscopic player & that merged the 2 streams properly......@ Sai, but that would be costly na?? I just hope that ultimately these people air Anaglyph content, so that atleast it can be watched with homemade/cheap glasses!!

So, a prototype.....1st wait till the final product comes. & then, until prices come within ur budgets........5-10-15 years???

ha ha i told u
we have to 10-15 years with 2d HD technology

NO death of 2D HD for now

Yeah, thats right!! We can say 2D HD has given birth to 3D HD......so, the latter will still need to be "Brought up" by the former. It cant die just after giving birth, can it??

Have not given birth, but the cradle is ready now. Baby yet to be delivered... Hope the following will be true soon1, Govt sanctions new 3D channels2, D2H starts providing some content3, Glass less 3D technology becomes a reality4, 3D TV becomes affordable Till then, D2H HD 3D DVR is just another HD DVR..... (with lesser HD capacity then competition ) ;-)

Up scaling 2d content to 3D is also possible with Indian Co fooling the customers ;)

But that would be really preferred by them, coz most of them dont have 3D TVs.....wat say??

That is the problem with us. WIth this chalta hai kind of attitude we r far away of technology compared to others be in 3G, Broadband or DTH. If something is termed as '3D' it shud be 3d not converted content, just like Dish TV's marketting gimmick of so called 30 HD channels.

Anyways they already have 3d channel testing donno what is dat
