The Good Wife (CBS, 2009-2016)

Well, both were grieving the death of Will. Both were drunk and vulnerable. It was Diane who casually said that we should merge the two firms. How do you expect Alicia to react to that, at that moment? That she needs to discuss with Cary and other board numbers. Not like a decision was made or would have been made without the knowledge of Cary. Diane was the one who was pushing for the merger even after that episode. And she was the one who was pushing for it even in the finale.

As I recall, this season began with Alicia staring at the camera with a glass of wine and it also ended the same way.

Cary did something uncharacteristic of him. But from his point of view he had no choice. However he should have known better than to approach canning.
Guess in next season cary and Alicia will be on a war path due to this.

From what I saw Canning did not really do anything. Yes, they found out from the video camera feed that Agos went to Canning. But nothing really happened!

^That's not the point. I'm just saying it's a serious betrayal on the part of Cary.
If I have to nit pick about the otherwise great finale, I'd say "leaving the video conferencing thingy on" was a Deus ex machina.

lol. from what i saw of the first few minutes... the machine showed a green light when it was on and red when it was off. who the fuck would not notice the green light for so fucking long?

another great episode. though not as brilliant as the first one but that is pretty much expected. david lee and louis canning missing through the show while their is a coup happening in their company made no sense. i am guessing that they have something else planned for the upcoming episodes. brilliant brilliant show.
