Commenting is banned for me. Have they selectively blocked me from commenting?

I guess they've blocked you from commenting as its available for me.Or maybe you have not 'liked' the page.

lol. i was not even messing around with them. errm. i have definitely liked their page because that's what i need to do to get their content in my stream right? their posts are coming in my facebook stream.

I'm not sure about this but you may have followed the page instead of like. And maybe for commenting you need to like the page. Just a wild guess.

I have no idea if Facebook allows you to block commenting capabilities (alone) of your followers.

I do not think so. The page tells you how you can ban someone 'from the comment' not 'from commenting'
